Hi, Dave. I just found some posts by you on the Forum and note your location in Greenville, SC. Are you actively building rods for sale, or just for your own use? If so, do you have a website, or a price list of tapers offered? And maybe I can get up your way from Columbia if you don't mind a visit to your shop from a '47Carolina'!

    Malcolm,
I have a weird feeling that you did not receive my response to your message. The long and short of it is that I welcome you to my shop. I have been making bamboo rods for 10 years and made my first rods under the tutelage of Jeff Wilkes, founder of Hazel Creek Rods. I do make rods for sale. Full prices are $1200 for a 2/1 and $1500 for a 2/2 including all of these options: hollow building, trim wraps, agate stripper, choice of cane and winding colors, wood filler, grip style,finish,bright/blued hardware and a walnut hex rod case with bag. I require a deposit of $400-500 which is fully refundable.I will accept rods back if unused and undamaged by the buyer.Neither of these situations have occured in the past.
I would be pleased for you to come by the shop regardless of your purchase decision. I look forward to your reply.
